All property owners in good standing (Annual Fees are paid and property is maintained according to the Governing Documents) are eligible to be Board members.
If you are interested, please review the By-Laws on this website to understand what the Board does and how you can contribute to the community as a Board member. To be more inclusive, the Board would like to encourage bi-lingual property owners to consider joining the Board.
If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please let us know you are interested by emailing lazyriverboard@gmail.com, sending a message to the Facebook Lazy River Board account or text to 979-398-1395 to have your name added to the ballot by February 15, 2025. The ballot will also contain write in spaces. Board position assignments are determined at the Annual Meeting on March 30, 2025.
To ease transition and allow for transfer of information, Board positions are elected according to the schedule below.
In the 2024 voting cycle, we experienced two resignations: President and Treasurer. To maintain the voting cycle, Catrina Robbins accepted the President position and Kate Mize accepted the Secretary and Treasurer positions for 2024. All positions were accepted for the remainder of their current term.
In 2025, the President, Treasurer, and Director positions will be eligible for vote.
